![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not sure if custom character stats randomize or if you can reliably have a Fierce Temper with paranoia, Whiner with robbery, etc. If there's a way to get it Cool It from any other personality trait, or for Irritating to have another trait bonus (like how whiner and temper can), that might have potential. I hear sometimes Fierce Temper people are paranoid too, which could be really good (two in one!) and my Frantic Whiner can also rob people.Ĭool It is also really powerful, so Irritating can be good, but I haven't personally tried one- I just get it from my Berserk/Bruiser. Once you get a little more used to the game, you can mix it up and try using the other ones out. Warrior/Ultrafit is a really good fighter from the get go but it's not as reliable for upgrading since they can't use any fitness increase, so I recommend it just in your custom roster so you might get to recruit them mid-game. If your run is going strong that's often not a problem. Lots of bonuses (sorta OP!), but moves slow and gets bogged down and killed by zombies easily if something bad happens. Very high starter stats for recruiting mid-run too. This also lets you Cool It, rob people, and get Fierce Temper for events. Oooor, you can min/max and use Berserk/Bruiser so you get benefits of berserk, with 2 hp still, at the cost of being slow. IMO you should always start with a good zombie killer until you really know what you're doing, which means Warrior with Athlete or Martial Artist (overmaxing fitness is quite neat, but they need someone else for guns or chainsaws) Go for whatever perk you like one with more support ability, or Ultrafit to make 'em decent at fighting. Paranoid is great for event solving too, if you don't want to use Civilized- and has bad loyalty so it's great for pairing with someone who can rob people. Start as Surgeon if you want lots of medical (and shooting on the side- train it up for more event solving power as they'll get Calm Shooter trait), or use ultrafit/athlete for better zombie killing ability. Once you're familiar with events it's generally easy to keep morale up, and they get Charming too for lots of bonuses. This is the only dog in Death Road to Canada that has two inventory slots instead of being limited to one, and also boasts maximum composure and shooting stats.Civilized is godlike as long as you aren't planning on robbing people. DELTA is another great dog companion that is only available at Prepper Paradise, a rare trading camp, and will join the player for 10 food. This dog joins with a loaded shotgun as well as maximum wits, composure, and shooting stats. Lil' Sam Byool has a 1% chance to be found instead of a regular dog in apartments with the 'BARK' banner out front. Moody may be found at trading camps and will join the party for 15 food.Īdditionally, there are two rare Super Dogs that make excellent allies if the player can find and recruit them. He will also cycle through his remaining arsenal between missions and owns some additional unique weapons. He uses a unique gun called the Off-Brand Plasms Rifle that regains 20 charges after every event, and players are able to conserve this ammo during ABL missions to start future events with extra ammo. Moody is a reference to Doom and has maxed combat stats, though his other stats will be randomized making him potentially unreliable. Gordo can be difficult to find, and can only spawn in a ruined house during suburban scavenging missions. He has one more health point than the average survivor, and an impressive proficiency of 5 in strength, fitness, shooting, and mechanic stats. Gordo is based on the protagonist of the Half-Life series and brings with him a crowbar, a Dolt 45, and a shotgun. She can only be recruited through a random event while driving and will be given a randomly generated female name when encountered, she's described to be 'dressed in medieval clothing like she's at a Renaissance Faire.' With her unique weapon and boosted speed, she can dance around a group of zombies and remain relatively safe. Her powerful rapier allows for thrusting attacks and is capable of critical hits. She also sports a 3 in strength and a higher dexterity than average making her movement speed faster. She has +3 to maximum fitness, giving her an incredible fitness stat of 9. The Fencer is another potential recruit and an extremely effective fighter. Related: How to Recruit All Party Members in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous He can only be recruited during the Ranting Man event, using a fully charged 'Cool It' option that will appear as "SAY IT, DON'T SPRAY IT!!!" He also has the 'Paranoid' trait which can help the player when adding new recruits or encountering bandits. He boasts maxed shooting, wits, loyalty, mechanical, and medical stats. George, based on comedian George Carlin, is an exceptional support character. ![]()
